Health and Safety Representative of the Year Awards 2021

The Government Health and Safety Lead annual Health and Safety Representative (HSR) of the Year Award acknowledges outstanding work done by HSRs. Agencies are encouraged to nominate HSRs who have played a significant role in delivering specific health, safety or wellbeing initiatives or have shown leadership and commitment to health and safety; encouraging engagement and development of staff or the organisation.   You can read about our 2020 finalists and overall winner here(external link).

Nominations for our 2021 HSR of the Year Awards have been received, and finalists will be invited to attend an awards event in Wellington on 6 May 2021.  

The awards event will be smaller than previous years’ conferences, but we are excited to announce that for 2021 the Government Health and Safety Lead is also planning an online conference as part of our programme of work to support the important role that HSRs play to keep their colleagues safe and well.
